Protective styles

Hello and welcome to my blog

Today i would like to talk about protective styles.  Braids, twist outs. braid outs, weaves, up do's, wigs and wearing your natural hair are the most common protective styles for today women  When wearing braids one should wear no longer than 4-6 weeks leaving them in any longer can cause dryness, breakage and tangling. Wearing your buns or ponytail to tight can lead to tension causing your strands to break. Use soft elastic that won't pull your strands.

Keep hair moisturized and wash hair weekly.

Keep heat away from your hair.

Change up protective styles.

Below are a few protective styles that i have used while on my hair growth journey

Key to healthy protective style is to keep your hair moisturized
